December 14th, Brussels. The FGTB, CGSLB and CSC main trade unions have also called for nationwide protest movements to take place on December 14 to denounce the government economic policies. A rally of the joint trade union front was held at 11 am Friday outside of the FEB (Federation of Enterprises in Belgium) headquarters in the Belgian capital. Thousands of workers gathered to demand fair careers and decent pensions. Outside of the FEB (Federation of Enterprises in Belgium), the protesters threw red paint and eggs to the building. With over 1.2 million members, the General Federation of Belgian Labour (FGTB) is the second the largest trade union in Belgium.

Some of the protesters tried to interrump the circulation, and access to the zone where the Erupean buildings are in Brussels. The Belgian police used tear gas to stop the protesters.
