December 22nd, Brussels. The ‘gilet jaune’ (‘yellow vest’) wave from France reached the center of Brussels for the fourth time this month. Not even after Belgian Prime Minister Charles Michel has offered his resignation, the Belgians yellow vests want to keep demonstrating asking for lower taxes and more purchasing power. Around one hundred yellow vests participated in the spontaneous demonstration, which was organized on social media. At some point, riot police stopped the demonstration and from there the participants were escorted until the Rogier square.
